Integrated Design Studio’s team of designers work remotely from Milwaukee, WI, but we work in coordination with our Equipment Specialist team located nationwide. Henry Schein Equipment Specialists are project managers for any design project, facilitating when to bring in our Henry Schein partners as well as our project partners like bankers, realtors, contractors, and architects.

Once a lease is signed, the build-out process can take as little as 7 months to well over a year, depending on many factors. Whether this is your first build or your third, having the right project team will make all the difference in your overall project time frame. The best way to decrease the project length is to overlap different elements when possible. When working with Henry Schein, your Equipment Specialist will act as your project manager, facilitating each step and incorporating the necessary parties.
Before beginning your project, it is imperative to understand the full scope of what will be required. Your Henry Schein Equipment Specialist will walk you through all the initial steps, including creating a business plan, identifying financial needs, evaluating a location, guiding lease negotiations, and determining overall practice needs.
The design of the space can significantly affect the efficiency of your practice. Working with an experienced team ensures that your practice will serve you, your staff, and your patients for many years to come. Once a floor plan is finalized and equipment is selected, your designer will create specification drawings to share with your architect and contractor. Detailed and accurate documentation will keep the guesswork out of your practice build-out.
Your Equipment Specialist will be with you through every step of the construction process, attending pre-construction meetings, conducting site visits to review progress and ensure accuracy, and conducting final walk-throughs.
